Although the Archon Compilation Cart was designed to work without a case, I nevertheless decided to create a suitable case. The main reason for this was that it turned out that on the SX-64, because of the cover flaps on the expansion port, it can be a bit tricky to insert the card there.
With the housing the flaps are now opened properly and the card can be inserted without any problems. A practical side effect is that the electronic components are now better protected and the card can be placed nicely for display.
Nevertheless, the case is of course optional and not necessary for the function of the cartridge.
The housing consists of 2 parts:
The case itself is designed to push the card in until it snaps into place by itself.
A second small part (labeled "C64") makes sure that the card is locked in this position.
